On Friday’s edition of The Beat with Ari Melber, a former associate of Roger Stone — who was a high-level adviser in the Trump 2016 presidential campaign — radio host Randy Credico, dropped an absolute bombshell, heard for the very first time on Melber’s show.
Credico, who has worked with Stone in the past, and who has resisted efforts to get him to testify as to what he knows about communications between Stone and disgraced Russian operative Julian Assange, told Melber that the new emails connecting Stone and Assange — far more in-depth than the denials Stone has been issuing for months now — tell a story that America needs to hear.
And although Credico says Stone accused him of “wearing a wire for Mueller,” the fact that Stone threatened him and, bizarrely, his pet dog seems to have proved to be too much for Credico.
In the past, the radio host had steadfastly refused to sit with either the House or Senate investigators looking into the now-established conspiracy between Russia and Donald Trump to ensure the success of Trump’s campaign for president.
But Credico was seated next to the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee — a name you’re more than familiar with at this point, Adam Schiff — at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner a few weeks ago. While the rest of America was busy either laughing or clutching their pearls over Michelle Wolf’s incisive jokes at the Dinner, Credico and Schiff were bonding over a shared hometown… and tentatively agreeing to an off-the-record interview between the two men.
That interview took place on Wednesday.
All of this is stuff that Credico told Melber he would be discussing on Friday’s show. But then Credico dropped the bomb: He just went to see Assange in London, where the WikiLeaks mastermind told him he was ready to speak to Congress himself.
Now THAT will be a sight to behold! Watch the segment here:
